I've just finished reading some of the comments regarding this chap..........Jeeez even people like Solware have distanced themselves.

From their website.

"Please note Solware Limited no longer use Mr Dave Hall for our tuning of recoiling airguns or Mr Hall’s kits. We have no association in any way or form with Mr Hall. We can still
have your spring airguns tuned professionally and can have other kits fitted by our third party qualified gunsmiths. Our gunsmiths are all highly qualified and widely respected
within the gun industry having worked for several high profile airgun companies. They also carry out repairs on shotguns, Rimfire and centrefire."

he had my gun eleven and a half months despite telling me it would be six weeks. did not fix the fault. did his top tune on the still faulty gun. despite saying he would not do that. i left him strictly alone and did not bother him. he promised it would be back on about 4 occasions never bothered to let me know why it was not, as promised. eleven and a half months later it turned up. the hard gun case that i sent it away in looked as though it had been kept under a pile of junk in his garage. the gun was no better in other words it still had the same fault that caused me to seek his help in the first place. the next day i cut my losses and sold the gun to a very nice guy from exeter way who really knew his stuff. he telephoned me later that evening. he had stripped the gun and found loads of grease a pop bottle sleeve grease in front of the piston. he sent me the photos to back it up. i have nothing against the pop bottle really i use milk bottles to make my sleeves or a steel beer can. but when you compare v mach or sandwell with his tune it was just a load of rubbish. to the dave hall fans who will probably rush to his defence this is the truth and a lot more beside that i cannot be bothered to type. dont take a chance with this man stay well away. he is a compulsive liar and con man despite what his fans say about him. there are many excellent tuners on the forums providing a great service. but not this one. regards pete
