As an add on, DON'T soak the leather piston seal in silicone. Use neatsfoot oil. ;) Silicone oil inside a springer is a big NO-NO. :shock:

My HW35 barrel has been shortened to 15in, and it's just about perfect now. ;)

Hi renegade, dont have a chrono,but test firing in garden at approx 15-17 yards it will go straight through a dog food can and stick in the tree behind about a cm,using smk spitfires.thinking i mght take a coil or 2 off the spring,never had to cut a spring down before whats the best way if you dont...

I had my HW35 barrel chopped down to 15in, and threaded for silencer. It's just right now and is performing very well. ;)

That will definitely knacker your barrel. :shock: A pull through with cloth patches is what's needed. ;)

Cut a small disc of cardboard, and fit underneath the seal. It will hold the seal still whilst you spin it in the drill. ;) Remove the cardboard once done. ;)

It's the piston liner, and goes inside the piston first with the joinn opposite the cocking slot. ;)
